The Action Rhyme books were short and sweet with great action words to keep the attention of active preschoolers while teaching the Bible stories. Also, I love the “Make a Joyful Noise!” book and CD. Having the music to go along with this book really helps to bring the Bible stories alive. 5 Stars - This book and CD makes teaching Bible stories fun for everyone! These authors have thought of everything that you’ll need and want to teach preschoolers and 1st graders about the Bible. Every one of the 22 Bible stories is accompanied by musical and creative movement suggestions, and there are lots of additional little hints, like snack time ideas and craft tips. The singers are a mother-daughter team and provide the music and vocals on the accompanying CD, which features 14 tunes that kids will love, from “On Top of Mt Sinai” to “Jesus Loves the Little Children.” Anyone looking for some inspiration for their religious education classes or homeschooling efforts will find a gold mine of resources in the Make a Joyful Noise book and CD package. - Dorothy J.
